Cosy-Autumn Yorkshire Wedding Inspiration
I'm very excited to share this project from November, which was put together with help from 13 local Halifax businesses. It started as an idea hatched up by Claire Bush from Sweet Sugar Sixpence and myself, and turned into a full blown day-long photoshoot with beautiful decor and products supplied by some seriously talented local people.
A big wedding with months of planning and lots of fuss isn't suited to every couple for their wedding day, so we wanted to create something that reflected a much more casual and relaxed affair. Something that could easly be emulated, and give a general feeling of warmth, family, sharing and a very Yorkshire vibe! We used the beautiful view of Ryburn Valley from Albert Promenade in Halifax as a backdrop for some daytime photo's, and later moved to a cosy reception setting at The Artworks. Claire created a fabulous dessert sharing-table with goodies such as iced mushroom biscuits, chocolate topped popping candy apples and fruit pie. She also made the super-cute and simple tutu's that the younger bridesmaids wore, styled the venue beautifully and put together the bridal boquet and bridemaid heart wreaths.
If you are interested in knowing more about any of the businesses or products featured in this shoot then please get in touch for more information.
