You may recognise this gorgeous couple from a short and seriously sweet wedding last Summer. Coming to the decision to marry the love of your life is usually a very easy decision, made so by the depth of feelings you hold for each other. Getting to that point of complete togetherness does of course come with it's ups and downs for most of us, but it's those ups and downs that build the relationship and make it what it is.
During our first phonecall, Sian told me the sad news that both her Mum and Luke's Mum had passed away five years ago. I felt instantly saddened for both of them, and later thought about how life can throw some horribly painful things at us to deal with at times. Life can be really unfair, and unbelievably amazing all at the same time. It's how we learn and grow from each different situation, both bad and good, that shapes us into the people we are today. I'm sure that Sian and Luke have very strong roots together in their marriage from the support they will have given each other right from the start.
I was so happy to fulfill Sian's wedding day wish. The family had a tree planted in the park in memory of their Mum, and Sian wanted to have photographs with her sisters taken by the side of her tree.
Such a special moment, and it meant so much to be able to do that for her.
