Since 2012Hello, I'm Georgia!

Thank you for visiting Happily Ever Captured, I'm so glad you've found my website and I hope you like my work.

I come from a little town called Halifax in the hills of Yorkshire. I live with my two highly entertaining kids, and my lovely husband. We've been married for almost nine years now and our own wedding seems like a lifetime ago!

We only had eight guests at our little wedding - the setting was amazing though as we lived in New Zealand at the time, so we tied the knot right on the beach with Mount Maunganui in the background. My hubby Danny still goes on about how he ate a full English breakfast for his wedding meal choice that day. Little daft memories of our day have always stuck with us and made us smile; but the one thing we didn't do was hire a professional photographer. At the time we were happy to let our family take photos - and don't get me wrong, we do have some lovely photos, but I've always wished we'd had someone there to really capture the emotion and feel of the day.

This is one of the reasons I feel so passionate about getting amazing photos for my couples! I want you to remember your one special day in a way that takes you right back to that whole feeling - the atmosphere and emotions once again.

Photography is the one thing throughout my life that I've really been able to immerse myself in (I just don't seem to have the same attention span for anything else!). I love all kinds of art, but taking photo's is what really makes me feel truly happy.

Photographing your wedding is an amazing invitation into the most special day of your life. I get to see the real you, the way you are together, and I love to capture all of that in my camera.  This isn't just a job for me, but a huge passion that I was so lucky to turn into a full time career. I hope you will look back at your photographs in 20 years time and feel again how it was on that day and be reminded of the promises you made to one another.
